Joshua Garrison

Joshua Garrison is an Assistant Professor of Educational Foundations at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He teaches courses in the history of education and childhood, multiculturalism and global issues facing children and schools. He completed his Master's and Ph.D. at Indiana University's Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, where he majored in the history of education. His research interests include the history of American childhood and the representation of young people in contemporary media and he is currently working on two book-length projects within that field. He is an associate editor of The American Educational History Journal.
